Badgers football: UW pulls in NJ offensive lineman

MADISON - The University of Wisconsin has picked up their second commitment of the weekend for the class of 2015. Offensive linemen Sam Madden (Barnegat, New Jersey) gave his verbal commitment on Sunday during an unofficial visit to Madison.
 
A 3-star recruit according to ESPN, the 6-foot-7, 340-pound Madden also had offers from South Carolina, Miami and Iowa, among others.
 
247Sports.com ranks Madden as the No. 6 player in New Jersey and the No. 23 offensive tackle in the country.
 
Madden is the third offensive linemen to commit to Wisconsin in the class of 2015, joining Jon Dietzen (Seymour, Wisconsin) and David Moorman (Pinckney, Michigan).
 
Overall, there are now 11 players committed in the class of 2015.
