MADISON - Jakarrie Washington is no longer a member of the University of Wisconsin football program.
As first reported by the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, and confirmed by ESPN Wisconsin, UW coach Gary Andersen has dismissed the freshman cornerback due to a violation of team rules.
When asked, a team spokesman said there is no chance that Washington could return in the future.
The Massachusetts-native had issues earlier this season. He was held out of the Iowa game for a violation of team rules.
Washington played in 11 games this year, mostly on special teams and finished with 10 tackles.
